Goldmühle bio argan oil 100 ml

The Moroccan Amazigh (Berbers) have long been convinced that argan oil works like a miracle as a panacea and fountain of youth. According to the latest findings, argan oil could protect our body from arteriosclerosis and cancer, as the Canadian University of Sherbrooke has found.

Most people only know argan oil as a beauty elixir for skin and hair, although it has long since conquered gourmet cuisine with its intensely smoky nut aroma.

It differs from the ingredients of normal edible oils mainly in the high proportion of vitamin E and the rare D-7 sterol, alpha-spinasterol and schottenol. In combination with the antibacterial and fungus-inhibiting polyphenols, it is said to have numerous beneficial properties for the immune system and a cell-protecting effect.

Basically argan oil is used as a healing oil and in cosmetics, where it is applied directly to the skin, for example. It is mainly used in creams, soaps and shampoos and is primarily intended to repair skin and the like. The oil is also assigned many beneficial attributes, including, for example, disinfecting, anti-bacterial and anti-fungal, anti-oxidative, blood-circulation-enhancing and immune-strengthening. For this reason, it is only used very carefully and dosed in the kitchen, because the valuable ingredients are unfortunately lost during frying or cooking. It is therefore ideal for seasoning cold dishes such as salads,

Depending on how you use it, you should also choose the argan oil variant, because while the roasted version has a nutty taste, the native variant is much milder. In the case of the latter, it is also guaranteed that the important ingredients are one hundred percent present and were not lost during the roasting process. As a rule, however, a gentle roasting process at around 40 degrees is chosen, which protects as many ingredients as possible. When it comes to storage, as with any plant-based oil, the bottle and its contents should be stored in a dry and cool place if possible, as the oil begins to change when exposed to sunlight or comes into contact with the air and has a bitter aftertaste.

Argan oil in cosmetics The argan almonds are pressed without any pretreatment. The Amazigh women (Berber women) have been using unroasted argan oil as a skin, hair and wound care product for centuries. The natural cosmetics manufacturers appreciate and use argan oil for the following reasons: • high content of vitamin E (tocopherols) • many secondary plant substances • contains delta-7 sterols (phytosterols that have anti-inflammatory effects, for example) The unroasted argan oil (cosmetic argan oil) is suitable for: • dry, sensitive and mature skin.

Valuable ingredients are unfortunately lost during frying or cooking!
