Organic Aromatherapy, the Swiss Way

Farfalla was founded near Zurich in 1985, back when "organic essential oil" was not yet a category. Four decades later the brand still does things the slow way: oils are sourced through long-term partnerships with growers, certified organic or Demeter wherever possible, and tested for purity batch by batch. Nothing is synthetically reconstituted, nothing is stretched with carrier oils.

The range splits into three worlds. Essential oils and blends are the foundation — Lavender Grand Cru and Peppermint Grand Cru are the classics, while functional blends like Sleep Well, Mentally Strong and Breathe Well address specific moments in the day. Natural skincare covers face and body with certified organic formulas: Alpine Rose A+ for mature skin, Orange Blossom C for hydration, Argan and Jojoba care oils for everything else. Room sprays and diffusers bring the same oils into your space.

Choosing and Using Essential Oils

If you're new to aromatherapy, start with a single-note oil and a simple ritual: a few drops in a diffuser, or a room spray for instant effect. Lavender is the traditional starting point for calm and sleep; peppermint for focus and freshness; eucalyptus for the cold season. Blends like Sleep Well take the guesswork out — they're pre-formulated for a purpose.

Pure essential oils are concentrated: never apply undiluted to skin unless the label says so, and dilute in a carrier oil (Farfalla's Jojoba or Sweet Almond work well) for massage. Room sprays and pillow sprays are ready to use as they are.
